I got the idea for this video from seeing how some local businesses use American flags to decorate thier public displays with. They put the flags out and never replace them, letting them rot. Most are used car dealerships. This one was the worst I had ever seen, so I shot it as an metaphor of our country's current descent into dystopia. For the soundtrack I used Rosanne Barr's hideous rendition of the Star Spangled Banner. It worked perfectly.
